Happy 10 Years Delhi 2 Dublin ! What a night !
Had the pleasure of covering D2D and opening act Sugarbeats for http://www.do604.com this past weekend at the legendary Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC. As soon as the music started I knew I had forgot a crucial part of my gear… earplugs. The Dhol was in full effect and my ears were ringing (in a good way) being only a couple feet away. These guys put on a non stop, wicked set with tracks from their new album – We’re all Desi and other classics from over the past 10 years. It had been awhile since I last covered a live music event and damn I missed it ! Shooting in this environment is a rush and when the music is good it only adds to the moment.
