Portrait Session with Mom

My Mom and Dad live in India and travel back and forth once every year or so. Usually here for a family function, babysitting duties and sometimes to just relax.  My Mom recently visited  our family here in BC for my Aunt’s Funeral. A sad time indeed for everyone and I think a time for her to reflect on her life, as my aunt was very close in age with my mother.  The day before she was to head off to Edmonton for babysitting duty I asked her to sit for me so I could capture her portrait.  She said “yes, but let me make some tea first”. Indian parents and their Chai, they can’t live without it.

Here are a few shots of my mom, feel free to leave your comments.

Thank you,
